Closing the Book on 2025, Ready to Write What Comes Next
2025… what a year of stories it has been.
Stories of triumph and quiet strength.
Stories of grief, deep shock, and sadness.
Stories of laughter, love, and moments that caught me by surprise.
Like any meaningful book, this year was made up of chapters that felt full and rich, and others that were heavy and hard to turn. Some chapters introduced characters who became anchors. People who stayed, who showed up, who helped carry me through some of the lowest moments of my journey. Those are the chapters I will always return to, the ones I will forever cherish.
There were also chapters I did not expect to write. Chapters filled with disappointment. Characters who tested me. Friendships that changed or quietly disappeared when I needed them most. For a long time, I wished I could skip those pages. But now I understand their place in the story. They sharpened my clarity. They revealed the beauty of the relationships, opportunities, and friendships that were waiting just beyond them. Sometimes the hardest chapters exist only to make room for better ones.
My favorite chapters this year were the ones that felt deeply aligned with my purpose. Chapters spent teaching, creating, and collaborating with extraordinary people and teams. Chapters filled with meaningful work, shared ideas, and the kind of connection that reminds me why I chose this path in the first place. I am closing this book with a full roster of clients and projects, grateful to feel busy, successful, and genuinely excited about the continued growth of my business.
This year’s ending, however, was not the one I hoped for. Losing my dad less than a month ago is a chapter I am still learning how to read, let alone write. Grief has a way of changing the pace of a story. And yet, even in this heartbreak, there has been comfort. In the outpouring of love for my family. In the memories that continue to surface. In the quiet reassurance that he was proud of me, and that I will continue to live and work in ways that honor him.
More than anything, 2025 reminded me of the importance of saying what matters while we still can. Of making memories intentionally. Of leaving nothing unsaid. As this year comes to a close, I do so with gratitude for the people who filled these pages, for the lessons written between the lines, and for the story that continues to unfold.
I’m closing the cover on 2025 with care, and opening the first blank page of 2026 with hope.
I can’t wait to start writing.
